Whose machine is this?
This is first because it changes what gets built. On a work machine, everything stays inside your own user folder. Nothing gets added to a repo you do not own, today or later.
There is no third option and no shame in either answer. If you are not sure, pick the work one. That is the safe way to be wrong.

Who are you, and what do you build?
Talk plainly and take as long as you want. If you have a voice tool, use it. Talking is allowed here and it usually comes out better.
Worth naming: what you make, the tools and languages you live in, and the projects that matter right now.

Your rules, in order
What do you want me to remember about how you like to work? Rules, pet peeves, things I should always or never do.

Highest first. When two rules disagree, the one at the top wins.

This is the session that matters. Write the rules down, then drag the important ones to the top. When two rules disagree, the higher one wins, and your AI follows your order instead of guessing.
Stuck? Think about a preferred language or framework, formatting you care about, or a line you never want crossed.

This becomes your first memory file, so the very first time you say pick up there is something real to find.

This decides where your personal file lives. If you use more than one, pick the one you use most. The others get a small pointer file so they find it too.

The three habits
These are three words you say out loud to your agent. There is nothing to install and no script to run. They are instructions in your file, and your agent follows them.

Take it with you
Here is your file. Give it to your agent and it builds the rest.
The two small files are the starting point of your memory folder. They carry your answers and nothing else.
It is a prompt, not a program. Your own AI coding agent runs it, on your machine, where it can see your operating system and what you already have. That is why you get a prompt instead of a folder of finished files.
